Correspondence from Rabbi Sassoon Khedouri: to the General Directorate of Import regarding Iraqi Jewish property taxes, the Jewish properties exempted from tax, hospitals, schools and orphanages; to the Chairman of the Property requesting a copy of plans and documents of properties belonging to the Jewish community; to the Director of Property Tax requesting a reduction or exemption of property tax for demolition or vacancy reasons.

Correspondence includes issues regarding rental properties owned by the Jewish community such as requests for maintenance, upkeep, reduction of rent, potential tenants for shops and houses, and lists of renters behind on rent. There are also government requests for tax on leased properties and notifications of building demolitions, and an electricity bill.

This archival materials mainly contains school taxation matters: a letter from the Mus’ūdah Yousef Shemtob School to the Office of Income Tax reporting the amount of taxes that were taken from the school’s employees; receipts, tax reports, and an official form for income tax report for year 1951; a letter from Iraqi Ministry of Finance regarding instructions for taxation; correspondence between Jewish community schools regarding employee salaries; document from the Tax Directorate to a company regarding their income, inflation, and employee's status; official documents from the Iraqi Ministry of Finance titled: Employees Income Tax General Instructions Manual with comprehensive governmental instructions on taxation rules, laws, and punishments.
